Cary, IL (January 26, 2010) - Sage Products Inc. is donating 55,000 prepackaged baths to be used for medical triage and in hospitals as part of Haiti earthquake relief efforts.
Sage has sent more than 600 cases of its Comfort Bath® Cleansing Washcloths to Haiti with the help of a local transportation company. Comfort Bath is a rinse-free, premoistened washcloth that replaces soap and water.
It will provide daily hygiene and will be a welcome relief for earthquake victims who do not have access to clean running water. JA Frate in Crystal Lake is sharing transportation costs and driving the product to Direct Relief International, which provides medical assistance in disaster areas. Direct Relief will coordinate transporting the product to Haiti. "With the help of JA Frate, we're proud to be able to donate a product that will make a real difference to survivors of the earthquake in Haiti," Sage President and COO Scott Brown said.
Supporting Haiti earthquake relief efforts is consistent with Sage's mission to make a difference throughout the world and the local community. Sage is a major contributor to countless organizations and non-profit agencies.
